Dapper locavores attending this Saturday’s evening Grandin Theatre Foundation Silver Screen Soiree at The Patrick Henry Hotel, an outstanding 501 Dining Package for ten is catalogued for silent auction. Chef James, “Jimbo” Chewning, to host the joint on an available evening this holiday season, with help from little sista, Kate, to serve up all the trimmings that Big Pine Provisions at 501 Campbell Avenue can locally source. Big Pine Trout Farm’s House and Angling Package is also offered for those seeking the countryside in New Castle, Virginia. Two opportunities to keep Roanoke’s Historic Grandin Theatre in the foreground of a City Renaissance that keeps us proud! We cannot thank you enough.

Big Pine Provisions remains closed another week. As you can see by the photo, we are not to be found. Plans are to be rescued by Wednesday of next week. Those ashore will show for the Grandin Market this Saturday, October 22, with Big Pine Trout Farm's fresh Rainbow Trout, Standard Smoked Provisions, Mattie's Mountain Mud, Breakfast Sausages, Ground Lamb and Paint Bank Bison.
