Christmas Eve is here. 🎄
We’re pretty sure Santa usually brings toys… but if he happens to drop off a deer, we’ll be ready for it after the holiday. 😉

We will be closed tomorrow as we spend time with our family celebrating the birth of Jesus. We are grateful for this season and for the support from our community.

Our deer jerky is another customer favorite for a reason.

We start with the leanest cuts we can pull, then double grind for consistency. From there, the meat is seasoned, marinated, and shot into uniform strips before dehydrating. This process allows for even seasoning and even cooking every time with no dry edges and no underdone centers.

As always, all products are vacuum sealed to lock in freshness and maintain the quality you expect from us.

We slow-smoke every batch for 7–8 hours over hickory pellets, giving it that deep, classic summer sausage flavor without overpowering the meat.

We’re BACK. 🦌

After two years closed, The Meat Sweats is officially reopening for deer processing tomorrow morning, Saturday, December 13th, and we’re grateful for the overwhelming community support.

Important details for drop-off:
• We are accepting whole deer at this time
• A cooler with fresh ice is required for whole deer drop-offs, as our walk-in cooler is still under construction
• We will handle skinning, gutting, and quartering if that suits your needs
• Cash only

Please bear with us as we continue renovations. We wanted to open early to support hunters who need a reliable processor this season.

We are getting the building ready and will be accepting deer on Saturday, December 13th 2025.

We can accept whole deer but they will need to be stored in a cooler as we are still getting our walk in cooler ready. Details on drop off to come. (Meaning we will skin/gut/quarter for you but a cooler with fresh ice will be required).

Our temporary shop number is 802-417-7929 but we anticipate this to change in the future.
