Reminder: GMO does NOT mean a crop is “filled with chemicals.”

Most people have been eating genetically modified ingredients for decades without even realizing it. GMO crops go through extensive testing and regulation before they ever reach the market.

And the reality is, humans have been modifying crops for generations through science, breeding, and selection to improve quality, yield, shelf life, and disease resistance. Nearly all produce we eat today has been changed in some way from its original form.

The internet runs on fear. Agriculture runs on science.

Spend enough time online and you’ll notice that a good portion of the internet is convinced that all of the food in the U.S. is produced by "factory farms.”

Hamburger steak with peppers and onions; brown gravy; stir fry zucchini, squash, onions and bell peppers with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese; Sister Schubert rolls and the best long white rice around. Banks long grain white rice, that is. 👍
