Well…. This weekend I made my way over to New Braunfels , Tx for the BBQ On The Banks Of The Guadalupe River Cook-Off

Safe to say they didn’t like my food to much. But it is what it is and I just gotta keep on smokin. You win some and you loose some. Every weekend is different

As for the results:
Chicken 🐔: 20th
Ribs 🐷: 19th
Pork 🐽: 15th
Brisket 🐮: 27th 😬
Overall: 20th place

This past weekend I made my way south to Corpus Christi, Tx to compete in the Bayfront BBQ Cook-Off at the Whataburger Feild

A very windy weekend it was a per usual Corpus wether. Luckily it wasn’t raining and it wasn’t 100°

Results:
Chicken 🐔: 9th place (El Patron/ La Primera)
Ribs 🐷: 21st place 🤦🏽‍♂️ I thought they were solid
Pork 🐖: 11th place (El Mero Mero/ Hot Nueces). I’ll take that call being only my 3rd time cooking it
Brisket 🐮: 21st place🤦🏽‍♂️. Simple mistake on my end
Overall: 17th place out of 29 very solid teams

Congratulations to cast iron cookers Mr Carl Davis on your huge GC. That’s his 7th one. Giving him an automatic entry to the Jack!!!

I Made the short drive over to Victoria,Tx for the 21st Annual Qual Creek Volunteer Fire Department Cook-Off

As always nothing but good times when out on the trail

Results this weekend were much better than last weekends (if you noticed I did not post them) but I went out and made up for it

Results:

Chicken 🐔 9th place (MPRB El Patron & La Patrona )
Ribs 🐷 12th place
Brisket 🐮 2nd place Snake River Farms
Overall: 8th place

As always, it’s always a good time hanging out with friends and making new ones

Well well well. Once again it’s been a minute since the last cook

This past weekend Broke Boyz BBQ made the trip across the county to cook at the Papalote Volunteer Fire Department BBQ Cook-Off

Had a blast hanging out with the guys and meeting new people as always

When the smoke all settled I was able to walk away with

4th place 🐔- La Primera/ El Patron
15th place 🐷
13th place 🐮
9th place overall
