The Walnut season is almost over. We are buying for one more week. Our hours are Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 5 pm. We look forward to seeing you. This last week has been slow. Very little wait times.

We just got a message from Hammons saying they are extending the season to November 14. Our hours will remain the same : Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm. We also sent our first semi load to Hammons today.

Good news.. we just received a call from Hammons saying the buying season is extended for one more. And possibly one more week after that. So continue gathering black walnuts and bringing them in.

It is now getting to be time to harvest black walnuts. This year is going to be different than previous years. Hammons has informed us they will be buying black walnuts for two weeks only. The dates of buying will be Oct 7 thru Oct 21. The buying price has decreased for this year and will be 12 cents a pound. This is all due to Hammons having an overabundance of walnuts and not enough storage. Our hours of business will be Monday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm.

We sent out our sixth semi load of black walnuts tonight. Weather is still decent and we are still open. Keep picking them up and bringing in. Been a decent year. Hours are mon - sat 9 am to 5 pm. Thanks to all who helped making it a good year.

This is our first full week of hulling walnuts. Today was a good day. Price for walnuts so far is 16.00 per 100 pounds. We are open from 9am to 5pm. As long as you are in line by 5 pm we will take your walnuts. Monday through Saturday. We look forward to seeing you.

Walnuts are falling and it looks like a good year. We will start buying Walnuts on Thursday September 28. Our hours will be 9am to 5pm. Price for Walnuts will be $16.00 per 100 pounds. Update on status of hulling machine. Hammons is sending a new shaft to us. It is coming by UPS. Please call us before you come to hulling site. We also ask that no one leaves any walnuts at the site.

We are sorry to announce that as of right now Oct 21 at 4:00 pm, we are temporarily closed, due to break down on hulling machine. A shaft broke and Hammons is sending us a new one. Right now the guys are working on getting the broken shaft out. Please call before coming. Hoping Hammons sends it quickly and we can get up and running.

An update on our brother Mike. He came home tonight .. needs to take it easy, which he doesn't know how to do. He has a cyst on back part of brain which will be monitored every six months. And he has a heart monitor due to heart rate dropping to low. Also concussion.
