McCann's Local Meats provide meats from animals raised in old fashioned ways by farms in the Rochester area. We provide meats that have been hung for at least a week after slaughter so that they will
develop flavor and tenderness naturally, as opposed to commodity meats from factory farms that are cut and vacuum packed right after the slaughter. Our meats don't come from bags in boxes; they arrive as large primals, halved, or even whole carcass ready for fabrication. Have a specific cut your family loves? Many of our recipes draw from other cultures, and we are always excited to hear about what recipes our customers use meat for. Our case boasts a variety of products made on premises from fresh sausages, deli meats, and air dried charcuterie items.
