Every Thursday morning you can join us in Harbor Park for the phenomenal Farmer’s Market. 9-1pm. Right now, there are so many beautiful, delicious, nutritious, and LOCAL vegetables and fruits grown by your neighbors on offer. And we have live music as well as the delightful story-telling under the Rockland Library Tent. The view is beautiful. Last but not least, here is a (partial) list of all of the other locally grown, raised, sourced products ready for you: poultry, beef, pork, goat, lamb, salmon, sausages and salamis of all sorts, honey, maple syrup, cow’s, goat, water buffalo, and sheep’s milk products galore, breads, sweet and savory baked goods, flowers, native perennials, shrubs, trees, pizza and bialys, iced coffee, hot coffee, fresh pasta, pasta sauces, dried and fresh herbs, tinctures, salves, balms, oxymels, granola, sheep’s wool yarns, helpful information, inspiration, love, and smiles. Are you getting your bags, boxes, and baskets ready yet? See you tomorrow!

We are back in Harbor Park this Thursday, from 9-1, bigger and better than ever, as not only are we hosting Harvest Bowls, we are welcoming back Coast to Coast Salmon!!!! And on top of it all, this is peak harvest season in Maine and your farmers have booths filled to bursting with all the bounty. So, grab your baskets, boxes, and bags and come join in the fun. Harvest Bowls is a fundraiser for Maine Harvest Bucks. Make a donation to support increased food access for your neighbors and as a thank you, select a beautiful piece of pottery donated by a local artist. Whether or not you are able to donate, please enjoy the free community meal made with ingredients from your market vendors. Thank you for your support. We appreciate it and look forward to seeing you!

The Rockland Farmers Market is so excited to be a part of the Harvest Bowls Fundraising effort for the Maine Federation of Farmers Markets again this year. We are hosting it this Thursday, 8/13, from 9-1 in our return to Harbor Park! Hundreds of craftspeople have made and donated beautiful pottery for this pop up, sliding-scale fundraiser and free community meal made with ingredients from the market. Please donate if you can, bring home a beautifully crafted bowl in return, and whether or not you are able to donate, please come enjoy the community meal free of charge. All funds raised support low-income food access programming at the Maine Federation of Farmers Markets. Please help connect all Mainers with locally grown food, grown by their neighbors for their neighbors. Thank you! Maine Fed of Farmers' Markets

So, a reel of 20 images at this time of year is simply an inkling of what is on offer at the market in August. We could write a volume about the selection of vegetables alone, never mind all of the other delicious and interesting things. Plus the music tent, the Rockland Public Library Storytime tent, and the Public Service tent, as well as our fabulous Farmers Market info tent! Thursday is market day from 9-1 in Snow Marine Park off Mechanic Street and we look forward to seeing you.

Every summer the Market moves to Snow Marine Park when Lobster Fest happens on the oval grass patch in Harbor Park. This is week two. We are just a bit further south down Main Street. Make a left on Mechanic and head toward the water. You will see the parking and our tents on your right. It is easy peasy. And it is fun. See you there!

It is our annual move to Snow Marine Park, just down the road from Harbor Park, while Lobster Fest happens! Our second home is just as beautiful and there is plenty of parking. We will be there from 9-1 at 51 Mechanic Street. We will have music by Alexander Bigney plus a Weavers and Spinners tent! It will be very festive. And, it will be full of vegetables, various meats, breads, kimchi, spirits, herbs, pasta and sauces, yogurts, cheeses, sweet treats, pizzas and so much more! We look forward to seeing you.

As many of you know, we decamp from the grassy oval of Harbor Park to the vast fields of Snow Marine Park for three weeks every year to make way for other events.
