Pretty interesting site on meat consumption per country. I'd like to see a map like this of the US. I wonder what TN eats for dinner.

This is an important piece of legislation. If passed, it would cut unnecessary regulations by allowing farmers to sell their meat to any person, store, restaurant or farmer's market in the state. Currently, we can only process meat for the person who owns the animal and their family. Email your elected officials and tell them their votes will help reclaim our local food sovereignty by keeping Tennessee food and Tennessee money in Tennessee.

Now this is a great idea. What a wonderful story.

FOTO FRIDAY: Robertson County Cattlemen's Association's president, Julie Russell, and member, Scott Adkins, delivered a quarter beef to United Miniseries and another to Master's Table to feed community members in need. The processed beef was purchased by the association from Brickey Cox, who showed in the Montgomery County Better Beef show on May 9.
