Hey, hey everybody!! We, at Rob’s Deer Shop sure hope you are staying warm on these brisk mornings.

The 25-26 Deer Season is well underway. We thought we’d go ahead and post the schedule, so that you can mark your calendar for specific seasons and so forth. The link below is the full PDF version, per the Regulation book released via DNR, but the pictures are just a snippet of the info for Frederick County Deer Hunting, in general.

Stay Safe. Stay Healthy. We’ll see you soon!

We’ve been asked the question and here is the answer.

Will we take quarters?

Yes. Our biggest thing is, we are no longer skinning deer and will not take rib cages. After some consideration, it is actually preferred if the hind quarters are still on the bone if you want steaks because of the proper way to debone for steaks and or jerky meat. However, unless, you want a shoulder roast, it is preferred that they be deboned. We hope this helps answer your question.

**business as usual - a confirmation number must be provided for each deer being processed.

All the good stuff! Jerky is a favorite around here!
