UPDATE: I placed 95 # of Bartlett Pears in the cooler this morning. And there are three dozen eggs as well.

Each bag of 5 pounds contains more than 5 pounds of pears. Generally, from 5 1/3 to 5 1/2 pounds.

We overweight the packages because a small percent of our fruit will have insect damage (Codling Moth). Still delicious when fully ripened, only with a bit of trimming due to insect damage.

There are no organic treatments which fully control Codling Moth.

Good morning! We picked Bartlett Pears this morning. They are $1 per pound. And sold 5 lb. packages. Although the pears were ready to harvest, they require a couple of days on your kitchen counter to ripen fully. Wait for a soft yellow color and a nice pear aroma.

All of our products are grown organically. We also have a couple cartons of eggs (4$ per dozen). Our hens are pastured and fed organic feeds.

Our farm stand is at 4882 W Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. The stand is self serve and open all the time. We accept either cash or VENMO.

Hello. Aronia Berries (Chokeberry) are available at the Black Dog Farm stand. These astringent beauties are 2 dollars per quart basket (16oz.). One basket contains more than enough berries for the cookie recipe shown below. I do not know how, but the cookie recipe greatly reduces the astringency and makes a great cookie! Enjoy.

Good morning! We picked our thornless blackberries this morning. One pint containers are in our farm stand (3$). All of our products are grown organically. In particular, our blackberries received no treatments. We also have a couple cartons of eggs (4$ per dozen). Our hens are pastured and fed organic feeds.

Thank you for another successful organic fruit season! Our tree fruit and berries will return this summer and fall.

Our pasture raised hens are producing organic eggs! Our hens free range our organic orchard and garden. And they are fed a locally produced organic pelleted layer food. We sell our eggs for 4$ a dozen.

Until recently we had fewer hens. Now we have 70+ hens. And selling three to four dozen each day.

Our farm stand is located at 4882 West Evans Creek Rd. The stand is open all day. And it is self service. We have a cash box and we accept VENMO payments. Thank you for your patronage.

Our organic Saijo, Fuyu, Chocolate, and Hachiya Persimmons are harvested and available in our farm stand. The Persimmons are 5$ for three pounds. And they are packaged in three pound bags.

Our 73 hens are producing very well. Our hens are pasture-raised and fed organic feed. Eggs are 4$ a dozen.

All of our produce is managed organically.

We also have Liberty, Joseph, Roxbury Russets and Enterprise apples. Apples are 3$ for three pounds. And they are packaged in three pound bags.
