Xia's Fresh Cut Flowers

Xia's Fresh Cut Flowers Fresh flowers and veggies grown locally from Rosemount and Lakeville Minnesota. Hmong family owned and operated. Xia's Fresh Cut Flowers is owned by Xia Y.

Xiong and his wife. Xia started his small business selling vegetables in 1992 at the St. Paul Farmer's Market, and in 2004, started adding flowers on his list of homegrown goods to sell. With the help of his two daughters, Chia and Vicky, his business started from just selling bouquets at the farmer's market to arranging custom arrangements for every occasion.

As a reminder to everyone, we ask that you please refrain from going into the fields for photos. We have had many individuals come to the property for photos and have ventured into the field. We would like to remain as non confrontational as possible, however, this does need to be addressed. We understand that it’s senior photo season, however, our fields are not open to the public. We work really hard on planting our flowers and would hate to have any damage to the property. It is private property and we do ask that you please respect the landowners and our privacy as the property is again, not open to the public. We have many photographers who have reached out to us and will not be responding to any inquiries regarding photo sessions. We want to remain fair to everyone who has inquired, there are no exceptions. We are firm on our answers and want to continue to build a trusting relationship with our landowners. We have added signs posted all over the flowers. We truly appreciate the admiration for our flower field. Our farm is like our second home, we continue to ask that you be considerate and respectful of the space. Again, if you would like to support our family’s work, you can find us at the farmer’s market. Thank you.

What’s your favorite market day? Sundays are one of our favorite days! Our produce is freshly picked and we get to arrange our bouquets fresh for you so that you can enjoy your flowers all week long.

We pick our tomatoes and produce immediately after our Saturday markets are done. Then after grabbing all the vegetables, we move on to the flowers. Our flowers are generally cut in the evenings once the humidity level drops so each stem is well hydrated. Sometimes we’re still out cutting even after dark, headlamp in gear.

As always, we love reminding everyone about tomato peak season! Head on to our markets throughout the week to pick up your canning tomatoes! It’s prime canning season! A great reminder for tomato peak season is that we are always going head to head with the MN State Fair Grand Opening week! It gets a little quiet for the market but all of the canning pros get to have their BEST pick! IYKYK (We’re trying not to gatekeep this market tip 🤫) Don’t miss out on the chance to get the freshest tomatoes for the season!

As always, thank you for an incredible turnout today! We hope to see you soon!
