Garlic Montana

Garlic Montana We grow gourmet garlic in organically sustainable gardens. We offer 30 varieties, something for ever We do not use chemicals or pesticides.

We are a small, family, earth friendly grower located about 30 miles north of Billings, MT. We only use natural, organic fertilizers. We grow our garlic in rotation with herbs and garden vegetables. Like most small growers we are not certified organic, but we live a sustainable lifestyle and believe in what we do. We plant in October and harvest mid July. We grow about 30 varieties of garlic, thou

gh this varies due to sales, conditions, and time of year. Garlic isn't just garlic. Though most people are accustom to seeing only one type of garlic in the grocery store there are many kinds of garlic. Each variety has its own character, size, shape, color, and taste, just as different types of apples or tomatoes do. We also make and sell Garlic Jelly. We make four varieties- Original, Red Wine Garlic, Hot Pepper Garlic, and Apple garlic. We love it on toast, with cream cheese on crackers, or as a glaze on meat. Check out our recipes for Pork Tenderloin Glazed with Garlic Jelly and Baked Brie with Garlic Jelly. Garlic Jelly makes a great gift for the garlic lover! We offer variety packs (five assorted, labelled cloves) and our "One of Everything" pack that includes one clove of every available variety. We have garlic recipe books that include great ideas for how to use our gourmet garlic with variety suggestions for each recipe. Garlic Montana t-shirts are also available.
