What a cool feature. We might be a bit bias but Dr. Olson is the best! We are so thankful for her and the work she does on our ranch with our herds! And….. she makes the best sauerkraut!

2026 is the International Year of the Woman Farmer! We promised some great stories of women farmers in North Dakota and here is another awesome profile! Ann Olson wears many hats: farmer, nonprofit coordinator, entrepreneur, vendor for a local school’s food service and even large-animal veterinarian. But the common thread throughout her work is making fresh, local food accessible, affordable and convenient for as many people as possible. We are super excited about our handmade leather patch hats we stocked at the Trading Post today from ! The leather patch is real leather, hand pressed and the hats are top quality. We even got a kids waterproof camo hat too! We are open daily 8am-8pm.

We’ve kept this under wraps for a while but the guys at the just finished up the buildout on our two tiny cabins that will be added to the ranch this summer! We will get these all finished up over the next few months and ready to welcome guests. Stay tuned!

A couple dozen farm fresh eggs $4/dozen washed and ready to go into Heartland Trading Post tomorrow (4/21). We are open 8am-8pm Sunday - Saturday with a self checkout kiosk. Google Maps will lead you right to the door at Heartland Trading Post.
