Help needed with apple harvest during September and October at Hugus Fruit Farm. Must be at least 16 years of age and all workers must be able to lift 50-60 pounds (a crate of apples). Hugus Fruit Farm will bring apples (Ginger Gold, Gala, Honeycrisp, McIntosh) and apple cider to the Baltimore Farmers Market August 25.

Here we are at the last week in August...where has the summer gone? We welcome Coffee Coven to the market this week with their yummy drinks. Come out and support our farmers after their awful couple of weeks with the rain.

On Saturday, August 15, Hugus Fruit Farm will have Ginger Gold apples and a limited supply of our end-of-the-season peaches in our salesroom and at the Old Fashioned Farmers Market in the Tractor Supply parking lot on East Main Street, Lancaster.

UPDATE: Thanks to a great turn-out, we have sold our oversupply of Second and Third Quality Peaches. We do still have a limited supply of our own First Quality Peaches available as of Thursday.

YES we are OPEN with peaches and apples this week. In addition to our First Quality Peaches, we are offering a Storm Damage Special: because the storms caused much damage on the peaches, get a peck (12 #) of Second Quality (still half a peach to eat) for $10 or two pecks for $18; a peck of Third Quality (some slices in each peach) for $2 as they are available during our sorting process.
