🔆Vendor Spotlight🔆 June 20th 10-2

Nicole Bumgardner from Bloom Soap Co

I started out making my own scrubs and lotions to use on my clients for pedicures and manicures. I really like knowing what goes into the products I am using. I took a soap making class and started looking into that process. I found that I also enjoy doing that. It helps keep me busy since we no longer are busy with boys in school sports.

Fun fact: I mostly name the soaps after memories of places we have been, a movie, or important people in our lives.

Favorite Product: I do not think I have just one. I love my face soaps. Maybe a toss up on soap bars between minted-bridge and eucalyptus & lavender goat milk soap. It really depends on what scent I’m in the mood for that day though. I usually keep 5 bars in my shower and smell them and decide what I want to use 😬. I do really like my goat milk lotion also. It’s so hard to choose just one.

Future: I am currently working on new fall scents and a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner bar.

We are so excited to welcome new vendors to the Russiaville Farmers Market on June 20th! Over the next several days, we'll be spotlighting a different vendor each day so you can get to know the amazing people who make our market so special.

Today's Vendor Spotlight is Jessica Rhum! Many of you may already know Jessica as an incredibly talented artist and musician. We are thrilled to have her joining us on June 20th. Not only will you be able to browse and purchase some of her beautiful artwork, but you'll also get to enjoy live music performed by Jessica throughout the morning at the market.

Be sure to mark your calendars for June 20th, stop by Jessica's booth, and check out all of the wonderful vendors we'll be featuring. We can't wait to see everyone there!

What is Trinket Trading?

You will see little signs around the market for Trinket Trading and wonder what it means… so here’s the fun! 🌿

Trinket Trading is a simple, playful way to make our market extra magical for kids. Participating vendors will have small baskets or jars filled with tiny treasures like stickers, charms, little toys, handmade goodies, rocks, nature treasures, and other fun kid-friendly items.

How does it work?
Kids can “trade” by sharing something special like:
🌿 A nature find
😄 A joke
📖 A story
🎨 A drawing
💛 Kind words
Or sometimes just a smile!

Not every trade has to be an item it’s really about connection, kindness, imagination, and making our littlest visitors feel included.

Why do we love it?
Encourages kids to explore the market

🌻 Helps families slow down and enjoy the experience
🌾Builds sweet memories for children
🌻Adds a little extra magic to market day

Do you have any of the items mentioned?

We are growing something special at Annas Acres!!!
As we continue creating our NatureScape play area we are looking for gently used donations to help us build fun, hands-on, nature-based spaces where children can explore, imagine, create, and learn.
During our Farmers Market, we will also have fun kids stations to help keep little ones entertained and engaged while parents shop, visit, and enjoy all Annas Acres has to offer.
We are not expecting anything to be brand new! If you have items tucked away that you were planning to donate to Goodwill, no longer use, or even thought about tossing out, we would LOVE to give them new life in our Farmer’s Market and NatureScape area. 🌱
We are currently looking for:�Small farm animals, barns & fences�Plastic bugs, spiders & tiny critters�Rubber ducks�Seeds for planting stations�Wooden bowls, spoons, plates, loose parts, little animal or people figures�Mud kitchen items (pots, pans, spoons, measuring cups, utensils — anything NOT glass)�Cardboard egg cartons�Nature treasures & sensory play items
If you would like to donate, items can be dropped off at Caterpillar Clubhouse Nature Preschool �Or if it’s easier, I’d be happy to pick up donations if you message me!
Thank you so much for helping us create a little space filled with wonder, imagination, messy play, and nature for our kids to enjoy. We truly appreciate our village.

Thank you so much to our vendors who braved the weather and came out for our community!

Thankfully the weather cleared by 10:30 and we had a great opening day!

The next market will be May 30th!

Yes, you can pet some animals too! The kids loved the goats and pony rides! 😍
