All the rumors are true… well, not ALL of them 👀

Yes, I am moving (but, The Spot isn’t going anywhere!)

We’re headed for South Carolina soon 🌙🌴 and we are so excited to step into our new chapter!

But, that doesn’t mean we’re closing this one… The Spot will continue exactly the way it is! 💅

I’m genuinely so excited to step into a more “behind the scenes” role of the business! I’ve been working behind the bar for almost SEVEN years now and as incredible as every day spent with you has been, I’m thrilled to be able to focus more on growing the brand, developing the business, and bringing new ideas and opportunities to life behind the scenes.

I’ll be able to orchestrate more events, curate specialty menus and new drinks, invest my time in a better social media presence, and create new ways to connect with our community. While my position may look a little different, I’ll still be very much involved in the day to day of the business! I’ll continue handling our bookkeeping, product ordering, staff management, and customer relations just as I have before!

If you haven’t heard yet, we’re excited to welcome our daughter this November! Once our sweet girl is here, i’m looking forward to traveling back and forth and still being able to spend plenty of the time in store, visiting and connecting with customers as I always have! 🎀

We have an incredible staff who are ready to step up and are currently and continually being trained to provide you with the best experience possible!

Caroline Pitts (Louisiana Tech class of 2025), a returning employee, will be rejoining us soon to support me during and after this transition. She’ll be working with me on the “bigger picture” side of the business. Lauren Wheeler, who has been a huge part of keeping things running this summer, will step into a bigger leadership role, managing day to day operations.

This business has been such a huge part of my life for so long, and I’m so lucky that I get to continue building it in a new way. Our customers and this community mean more to me than I could ever put into words, and I’m so thankful that I get to continue being a part of it. I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us!
