We received this in the mail on Friday and have wavered whether to post it or not. After thinking about it, we decided we should to give thanks to all those who aided in making it possible. The name on the certificate may be mine, but this is because of many of you. Those that gave to support feed those in need, my associates who volunteered time and energy to help make the bags and those that just took the time to share and get the word out THIS IS FOR YOU! Thank you to each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

Eating is a basic human right. Many do not have the means or the ability to “get a job” or “work more hours” and for us that never mattered as the intent was that we would reach those that did need it. We have handed out well over 100k food bags. Was every bag perfect? No. Was it a great fancy meal? No, but it was something. So thank you again.

I’ll leave a nice verse from West Virginia native Oliver Anthony’s song

“It’s a damn shame, what the worlds gotten to
For people like me and people like you.
I wish I could wake up and it not be true
But it is. Oh it is.”

We may never change the world, but if we just change one persons world, then it was all worth it.
