Grandmother's Sacred Herbs& Herbals

Grandmother's Sacred Herbs& Herbals Organic Herbs, Teas, Blends. and Spices, Soon back in the line will be the great Skinergy Butters, C As Hippocrates said, "Food is the best Medicine."

Herbs and Herbal Remedies have been a part of my life since childhood. Recent studies show that more than one-third of all Americans use some sort of alternative medicine to get well and stay healthy. Even more people than that make specific food choices and take supplements daily to achieve long term health. That's because a growing number of us are beginning to understand that eating the right f

oods, drinking plenty of water, and exercising and resting in sufficient amounts are fundamental to good health. Herbs are, of course, the oldest form of "supplements." Used for more than 5,000 years, ancient people wrote of the use of specific plants to treat and restore the health to their poeple. As time passed, we have found again that using plant based medicines can restore and maintain our health once again. This brochure is designed to give you the imformation on the organic herbs and tea blends that we carry to help you make better choices for you and your families. Grandmother Earth, Mother Earth, whichever you choose, has supplied us with a remarkable array of plant life that works in rhythm with our bodies. It's absolutely straight from perfection, the way it was planned from the beginning. Please enjoy the offerings presented which I have formulated over the course of time and myself and others have used with success. Please do your own research, as well, on herbs and their uses before buying or trying any supplement herb product. There are many considerations of and side effects when using herbs while taking prescription medications. Herbs and Pharmaceuticals Do Not Mix. Thoroughly Research and Talk it over with your Physician.

The year 2020 is almost over. I am so thankful for a new year to come. I am also honoring those who are hurting, those who are missing from our families and friends, those who are worried. I ask in my daily prayers for blessing for each and everyone of you, no matter the need. More on Basil: It's been a favorite herb for thousands of years for both cooking and in the medicine chest, not to mention it has been highly revered in Folklore.
To the ancient Greeks and Romans, the herb was a symbol of hostility and insanity. They believed that to grow truly fragrant powerful basil, one had to shout and swear angrily while sowing the seeds. Even today in French, "sowing basil" means "ranting"
On the other end of it, when an Italian woman placed a potted basil plant on her balcony, it signaled that she was ready to receive her lover. In modern times it is said to put fresh leaves of Basil in your cash register to bring paying customers. Traveling salesmen would put a leaf of Basil in the bottom of their shoes for success.
In India, holy basil has long been revered as a sacred herb. It is considered sacred to the gods Vishnu and Krishna and believed to be a protector in life and death.
I love it because it tastes so good and has the ability to make tomato taste sweeter. It is easy to grow and use right from your plant. You can get more information on this wonderful herb with google. Ask for the medicinal properties, it's amazing!!

Good morning, it's 12:12 am. Something woke me up and I guess this is what it is.
What is your favorite herb right now? Cooking or otherwise?
Let's talk about it and see where it goes.
I'll start. Right now my favorite herb is Basil. For the last month or so, Basil has been right by my side to flavor my food from pizza's to soup. I just was gifted two Tulsi plants. I am so thankful!! They are beautiful, I can't wait until they are big enough I can start using them. Tulsi is also called Holy Basil. Very sacred herb in India. Holy Basil can be used in hot water for tea and can a;so be used in soups and sauces. It is wonderful for helping our Minds, Bodies and Spirits. Happy Monday!! I Love you

Happy Sunday!!
I was so honored to participate in a Charaka balancing meditation on Friday night at Mystical Herbs and Healing. Amber is doing a great job at this new little shop in St Augustine. If you are in town, I encourage you to stop by. She is on US1 South in the same complex where the Coconut Barrel Vendor Market is. She also has a great Facebook presence so it is easy to see what she has to offer. The meditation was very good for me and helped a great deal with my new life of "retirement" The meditation is on her page if you would like to watch it. Good, good stuff
And, speaking of Coconut Barrel Vendor Market, It is where you can find a sampling of my organic Herbal Teas and Herbs that I'm offering for sale. This year for fall I added organic spices to the mix.
It has been great getting back into the herbs that I love so much.
