Morning friends! We’ve got a big month coming up, including a few big events you won’t want to miss:

This Saturday 4/4, we’re hosting Red Wing Gryphon Rescue for a special adoption event. Bring home your new best friend just in time for Easter! (Guaranteed not to eat the Easter Bunny, they’re vegetarians). Event running all day, 11-7.

Then, on 4/11 we’re partnering with Mayhem Datil Pepper Farms for our first ever Datil Pepper Plant sale! Stop by to pick out your very own Datil plant:) 11am-2pm

Last up, we’ll be in Ocala for their first ever Blueberry Festival 4/24-4/25! More details coming soon;)

🏴‍☠️SACK OF ST. AUGUSTINE re-enactment and encampment this weekend! Searle’s Raid will take place at March 6-7 in historic St. Augustine, Florida.

Pirate Robert Searle (an English buccaneer) sacked and burned St. Augustine in 1668.

This event will include demonstrations and an encampment from 10 AM to 4 PM March 6-7 at the Colonial Quarter, with entrances at 33 St. George Street and 14 S. Castillo Drive. Admission is free on Sat, March 7.

The re-enactment will take place from 4-6 PM Sat, March 7 — starting on the field near Huguenot Cemetery at the north end of St. George and Orange Streets. A procession will then take place down St. George Street. The event is coordinated by the Florida Historic Militia group.

Nazgul, a two-year-old Czechoslovakian wolfdog, ran onto the cross-country ski course at the Winter Olympics, even crossing the finish line.

He was quickly brought back to the safety of his home nearby, but word on whether he will get an Olympic medal for his athleticism is still unknown.
