*UPDATE: SOLD! Be on the lookout for the next batch!*

The garden is starting to produce and cool temps means greens and root veggies!

Though the farmstand is not set up yet, I will be posting every so often with extra produce. This will be FCFS.

Today, I have 2 bundles of Cherry Belle Radishes. As a reminder, this is pay what you can. All proceeds go back into the farm and/or the garden!

Message me directly to set up pick up! 👨🏼‍🌾💚🫜

A few weeks ago, we were asked to bring some of our animals to Southeast Polk Clay Elementary School to share and educate the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes on some of the animals we raise at the farm.

The Pre-K classes were learning about Living and Non-living things and the Kinders were learning about farm animals!

We had such a wonderful time sharing the love of our animals with all of the kids. Seeing their faces light up each time we talked about a new animal was a big highlight!

Thanks for having us, SEP Clay Elementary! 👨🏼‍🌾🐣❤️

We welcomed our first two Baby Doll Sheep! Twins! Sootie was unfortunate to lose her lamb last year and what a nice surprise to us and to her that she welcomed two wonderful and healthy babies this year! A boy and a girl!

We already have a waiting list, so these lambs are already spoken for, but if you’d like to be put on the list for furture lambs, send us a DM.

Here at Remington’s Ranch, we sometimes take in animals whose owners no longer have the time, ability or means to care for one of their animals. We recently got a message about a 6ft Axanthic Blue Iguana that needed rehoming. Shaun fell in love and a few days later, here we are. Welcome home, Deadpool!

Emus need love too. Doug the emu likes his one on one time.

Remember we take pumpkins when everyone’s done with them as long as they haven’t been painted or sprayed with anything! A lot of our animals here enjoy eating them or using them for enrichment! Our tortoises are a few that enjoy them as a snack. We currently have 3 sulcata tortoises and 2 Greek tortoises that live here. They’ve been moved from their outside summer enclosures into heated quarters for the winter but that doesn’t slow down their appetites!

We’ve been slowly adding a few new pigeon breeds to the farm lately! I use to have A LOT of pigeons when I was growing up and got out of them for a while but added a breed I’ve always wanted to work with. These are Modena pigeons they are big and like to strut their stuff! We’re excited to get them paired up and start producing babies in the spring!

My favorite part about spring is baby miniature donkeys. We currently have 3 baby boys running around. Archie was our first one out and is already claimed. Next one was Dexter the spotted boy pictured and then Oakley the dark boy with one white spot in the middle of his forehead. Both of these boys are doing great and are already enjoying butt and ear scratches. Both are available for potential homes to meet them and put down a deposit if you feel they are a good fit for your home! They won’t be ready to leave their moms till August when they will be weaned, socialized and started with learning to walk on a lead. Feel free to message me if you are interested in either one of the boys!

We also have some button quail looking for new homes. These guys only get about 3-4 inches tall full grown and make fun and easy inside pets that lay tiny eggs. I currently have 8 that are a couple days old, 7 that are a couple weeks old, and some adult ones ready to move on. Feel free to message the page or me for info!
