What makes drinkable yogurt... drinkable?
It starts the same way as traditional yogurt. Fresh milk is cultured with live, active bacteria that naturally thicken the milk and give yogurt its signature tangy flavor. The difference is in the process. Instead of allowing it to set into a firm yogurt, it's gently blended into a smooth, pourable consistency that's perfect for sipping.
Our drinkable yogurt is made with fresh milk from our cows and contains live cultures, making it a delicious way to enjoy dairy any time of day. Have it with breakfast, pour it into a smoothie, enjoy it after a workout, or simply grab a bottle on your way out the door.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Redhead Creamery’s Drinkable Yogurt Wins First Place at the 2026 American Cheese Society Judging & Competition

BROOTEN, Minn. β€” July 9, 2026 β€” Redhead Creamery is thrilled to announce that its Original Drinkable Yogurt has been awarded First Place at the prestigious 2026 American Cheese Society (ACS) Judging & Competition.

The product secured the top spot in Category QK: Drinkable Cultured Products, receiving a near-perfect score of 99 out of 100. This year’s competition featured more than 1,600 products from over 200 companies, making this a monumental achievement for the Minnesota-based creamery.

"We are incredibly honored and proud of our production team," said Alise Sjostrom, president of Redhead Creamery. "To receive a 99 score in our first year of yogurt production is a testament to the hard work, passion, and fresh milk that goes into every batch. Winning first place across the Americas is a dream come true."

In addition to this victory, Redhead Creamery’s artisan cheeses also performed exceptionally well, with American originals St. Anthony and Barbarian both receiving scores of 96.5, and the soft spread Bovre scoring 93.5.

Cheeses from Redhead Creamery like those and North Fork Whiskey Washed Munster, Lucky Linda and Margie Cheddars, and Ridiculously Good Cheese Curds have previously been named Champion of the Minnesota State Fair Butter and Cheese Contest (multiple times), Top 20 Best of Show in the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest and category winner and medalists at American Cheese Society.

Redhead Creamery's award-winning products are available at redheadcreamery.com, via their regional delivery van, and at select fine cheese shops and restaurants nationwide.
