🎉 Two reasons to celebrate this week:
1️⃣ It's Katie's birthday! Make sure you wish her a happy birthday!! 🎂
2️⃣ We dropped our 250th Special Edition Summer Sausage! If you've stopped in over the last week, you've probably already spotted it on the shelf.
Earlier this year, Keary said he wanted to hand out snack sticks at the Mount Calvary Parade in honor of America's 250th birthday celebration. Naturally, we ran with the idea! So if you're planning to attend the parade in July, we have a special treat in the works.
Now, he didn't go completely wild or take any crazy risks. Instead, he stayed true to his German roots and created something authentic and incredibly flavorful. Inspired by his popular 3 Pepper Summer Sausage, he developed a new pepper blend and made it shelf-stable so we could feature it front and center in the store.

The result? A bold, dynamite flavor that's completely different from our traditional Salchert's Summer Sausage.
And honestly, that's what I love most.
I love our original summer sausage and wouldn't want anyone messing with it. This special edition belongs to the summer sausage family, but it's definitely its own thing.
