Stop buying the bottled stuff! It’s time to take control of your fridge and level up your kitchen game! Trust me! You and your family are worth it and it taste soooo much better!!!
Most store bought condiments are packed with unnecessary preservatives, high-fructose corn syrup, and soybean oils.
But did you know you can make your own homemade mayonnaise and ketchup in less than 15 minutes?
Not only do they taste infinitely better, but you also get to decide exactly what goes into them.
Here is my challenge to you this weekend:
Skip the condiment aisle and make your own!
The 2-Minute Mayo Challenge
Throw away the store-bought jar.
Real mayo is incredibly rich, creamy, and takes literal seconds if you use an immersion blender.
What you need,
1 whole egg, 1 cup of light olive or avocado oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice (or vinegar), a pinch of mustard powder, and salt.
The trick….Put everything in a tall jar, place your immersion blender firmly at the very bottom, turn it on high, and slowly pull it up as it emulsifies. Boom. Perfect mayo.
The Rich & Tangy Ketchup Challenge,
Say goodbye to corn syrup. Homemade ketchup actually tastes like real, vibrant tomatoes and warm spices.
What you need,
Tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, a touch of maple syrup or honey, onion powder, garlic powder, and a pinch of clove or allspice.
The trick… Whisk it all together with a splash of water over low heat for 5 minutes to let the flavors marry.
Who is ready to accept the challenge?
Drop a comment below if you’re team , and post a picture of your jars once you make them! 👇
