Long before there were grocery store shelves, The Lord created a perfect, self sustaining system meant to replenish itself, grow, and feed us exactly what our bodies need.

We are living in a time when many, many, many warnings are being given of many kinds. I’m am concerned about the lack of heeding. The Bible says knowing the truth brings freedom (I’m paraphrasing this)! Long before the famine in Egypt there was a young teenage boy given a dream. A dream those around him thought was crazy and didn’t understand! Here this, IT DIDN’T MAKE IT NOT SO!!!
His name was Joseph. God had great plans for his life. The journey was long, he was betrayed, sold into slavery, stripped of all he knew, put into jail, BUT GOD. He had was with and guided every step, he paved Joseph’s path! He took him from a pit to the palace! He became second in command over a nation!!! WHY!?!?!? To create fear, to be ignored, to fail????? NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

TO PREPARE! To heed to the dream, the signs, the warnings, the instruction of the LORD!! To walk in wisdom, to set a tone, an example! To create a way to SURVIVE what was to COME!

I didn’t start the journey I did because I have time and nothing better to do! I don’t learn bake, grow, and cook because I like it. I have begun to do it to the level I have at the Lord’s leading an instruction. Starting with steward, your bodies well. Steward, your families well. The American western culture has created a society that wants everything quick, easy, little thought, planning and preparation. Over, intentionality, hard work, biblical honor and order. We’ve made idols of our lives, children, careers, placing things that should matter less above making them matter more. Our priorities have become out of alignment to say the least. We have got off path as a society. However it doesn’t mean we have to continue on that path.

God, I pray today that there would be a people who would have eyes to see in ears to hear for your kingdom. That they will realize that we’re in this world, but not of it that we are called to be set apart. We are called to do things differently. We are called to go against the grain. We are called to know where Shepherd’s Voice another that we will not follow. We are called to lead by example we are called to see the sign of the times. We are called to heed to them. Show us God every area that we have ignored your signs every area we have been disobedient to honor you and what you have laid on our hearts. Expose the places where we may be deceived and bring us into your truth that we are made free. Help us to live father in a way that brings you glory, honor and points others to you. Help us to not cut corners, but to take the extra time to live our life prepared mentally physically and spiritually. In the name of Jesus.

If you are looking to create a stellar "barnyard mix" or build a specific hybrid line, running a Brahma rooster over your hens yields incredible results. Here are some of the most popular and successful crosses people love to breed them with:

• Over ISA Browns / Lohmann Browns: This is a highly sought-after cross. It tones down the extreme commercial laying traits of the hens to give you an incredibly robust, winter-hardy dual-purpose offspring. The resulting daughters are heavy, excellent foragers, and lay around 250 large eggs a year.

• Over Buff Orpingtons: Crossing a Brahma rooster with an Orpington hen creates an absolute tank of a bird. Known by some breeders as the "Snow Mammoth" cross, the offspring grow much faster and larger than either parent due to hybrid vigor (males can hit 13+ lbs). Plus, they get cute "booties"—just enough leg feathering to stay warm without tracking extra mud into the coop.

• Over Black Australorps: A classic cross that blends two legendary backyard favorites. It maintains a sweet, docile temperament while creating an incredible, deep-bodied dual-purpose chicken with top-tier egg production and heavy meat density.

• Over Black Copper Marans / Wyandottes: Great for adding immediate stockiness, bone density, and cold-hardiness to the next generation.

We have two dozen hatching eggs available!

Both have 9 eggs from our specialty line with a 3 pasture picks! Colors are breathtaking!
There are several with heavy bloom and speckles! You see there is one of the plum/ mauve heavy bloom in each!!! Along with some pink and peach! Took pics in 2 different places / lighting. Pics in other lighting in comments. No filter!

Our Breeding Groups & Egg Markings

To help you organize your incubator, your eggs will arrive categorized into two distinct groups:

• "Pasture Picks" (Unmarked): These eggs are not individually marked. They consist of,
Rhode Island Red (RIR), ISA Brown, Easter Egger (EE), and Sapphire Gem, and Black Cooper Maran hens, all crossed with our gorgeous Black Copper Marans (BCM) rooster.
Expect a surprise array of beautiful colors in this mix, including pinks and peach-colored eggs with heavy bloom and speckles, as well as unique olive eggs (F1OE) featuring lavender/grey speckles !

• Specialty Lines (Marked): Our premium olive-egg and purebred lines will be clearly pencil marked on the shell so you can track them in your incubator. All of these specialty hens are running with our pure BCM rooster, which means these olive lines are perfectly backcrossed to deepen and darken the egg color of the next generation! These include:

BCM: Pure Black Copper Marans (Dark chocolate brown eggs)
OE: Olive Egger
BCOE: Black Copper Olive Egger
F1OE: First-Generation Olive Egger

We routinely run test hatches in our own incubators to ensure our roosters are active and fertility rates are excellent before offering eggs to the public. However, please note the following terms:
• No Guarantees: Because we cannot control the conditions of your transport home, your incubation equipment, thermometer calibration, humidity levels, or hatching techniques, there are absolutely no guarantees on a specific hatch rate or successful hatch.
• Genetic Variation: While we breed carefully for specific traits (like deep mossy green eggs or copper feathering), chicken genetics carry natural surprises. We cannot guarantee the exact adult feather patterns, leg feathering, or final egg shade of the chicks you hatch.
• All Sales Final: Due to the biological nature of hatching eggs, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or replacements for eggs that do not develop or hatch.

Local Pickup Guidelines

• Safe Transport: Please bring a secure, padded box for your drive home to keep the eggs from bouncing or rolling.
• Settling Period: Once you get your eggs home, we highly recommend letting them sit "pointy-side down" at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours to let the internal air cells stabilize before placing them into your pre-heated incubator.
