Blue’s instincts revealed themselves yesterday. My plan is to start working her on cattle now that she’s able to follow commands pretty much without fail. I am by no means an expert but we’ll learn this together.

About half of our broilers came in! Toby’s in the process of making a chicken tractor so we can get these bad boys outside once it warms up. I’ll share a comparison of last years tractor (made for 10ish meat birds) and this years (made for 30). It’s a major upgrade.

How do we know? Because our girls laid 90 eggs in the past week after being pretty dormant all winter! That being said, we did break a few but do have 83 +1 duck egg available!
