Juneteenth is celebrated each year on June 19th, commemorating the day on June 19, 1865, when all remaining enslaved African Americans finally became free. ✨This year, Wedge Community Co-ops will donate $2 for every purchase of Ayéya Inc. and Alaffia products sold June 19-21 to 100 Black Men Twin Cities.✨

100 Black Men of the Twin Cities was founded in 2020, and is a part of the national network of 100 Black Men Of America, Inc., recognized as the America's top African-American-led mentoring organization.

Olowo-n'djo Tchala founded Ayeya and Alaffia, two purpose-driven companies rooted in empowering communities in West Africa with a focus on using traditional, fair-trade shea butter and ethical sourcing. Alaffia offers everyday, family-friendly clean body care products, and Ayeya focuses on eco-conscious and plastic-free beauty products and home decor.

Our June Change Matters partner is , a a Twin Cities-based mission driven coffee shop with a vision to end youth homelessness. They operate a four-month-long Work & Life Skills Training Program for youth aged 16-24 who have experienced homelessness. Wildflyer creates a supportive, growth-based, accessible environment for young people to gain the personal and professional skills needed to gain stability.  is donating $1 per product sold to Wildflyer during the month of June.
