JO-EL's is not the kind of place you just run into. A little hard to find the first time, but certainly worth the trouble.

Started in a 4 car garage in Gulfport more than 39 years ago, JO-EL's Kosher Deli, Market and Cafe is a family owned and operated business with a comfortable, warm, friendly, casual atmosphere.

​You'll find very personal customer service and a fabulous staff here to make you happy! Everyone from New York comes here - and coincidentally, the owners are from Brooklyn and the Bronx, so Northerners will feel right at home! While you're here you'll meet Joel and Ellen, the Patriarch and Matriarch for whom JO-EL's is named. Daughter Sharon manages the store and handles all the catering and special orders. Gregory, Terry and others have worked here for years and years. It all adds up to a unique and special place for breakfast, lunch or to pick up something for dinner. We offer only the best hand sliced nova and lox, real Kosher corned beef and pastrami, homemade pickled tongue, 1/2 sour and sour green pickles and so much more. Bakery goods are brought in from New York: Green's and Beigels bakeries. Some excellent baking is also done on the premises. We cater for all life-cycle events and we cook for you on all major holidays (YES, we deliver). By Purim each year the butcher shop and market are Kosher for Passover. We carry a wide variety of:
Gefilte Fish - fresh, frozen, jarred or canned
Cholev Yisroel and other Kosher Cheeses
Many products From Israel - Bamba, Bissli and Bourekas to name a few! Extensive wine selection from all over the world

Of course we carry Corned Beef, Pastrami and Tongue
