Tested out a new method of my brown sugar cinnamon loaf. Prepping for an order this weekend 🤎🐻

This is one of the hardest ones to make , because the sugar turns liquid overnight and it’s messy! But sooo worth it. Let me know if you want the recipie or a video on how to make it.

These are not sourdough, but thought I would share because we have made these twice now and absolutely love them! I crushed up a handful of graham crackers and a handful of mini marshmallows inside the batter and then top with a few pieces of chocolate 🍪

Bake at 350 for 12 minutes

How to know if your sourdough was proofed correctly

• it’s firm coming out of your proofing basket
• it holds its shape while scoring, and does not “deflate” and fall flat
•it will have a good oven spring 

If your bread is not rising well and coming out flat and dense- it is not getting proofed correctly. (This could also be due to a weak starter) The most important step of making sourdough bread is getting the bulk fermentation process right. This will result in fluffy and well risen bread

Hi everyone!

I wanted to start with one of our absolute favorite sourdough recipes 🍕

sourdough pizza

1 batch (makes 4 small pizzas)
• 500g bread flour
• 330g water
• 100g active starter
• 10–15g salt
• 10g honey or olive oil

Instructions:
• Mix ingredients
• Complete four sets of stretch and folds every 30 mins over the span of two hours
• Bulk ferment until its volume has increased to about 50% (I don’t get too hung up on this and I let it bulk ferment overnight for 8 hours)
• Shape into oiled containers and refrigerate for at least 8 hours but up to 3 days
• Let dough rest for 30 minutes on the counter once you’re ready to bake

My absolute favorite way to cook our pizza is by heating the bottom on a cast-iron, and then throwing it in the oven on broil. It takes less than 10 minutes!
