Yesterday we emptied out the 1-25 bag of tags. Time to open the 26-50 bag. We like using pre numbered tags and going in order. This helps us in the pasture to determine how old the calf is by seeing the number for a quick reference, #1 born first so that makes it’s the oldest in the group and so on!!
You know we keep strict records on our herd, ever calf is tagged, banded, shot of Multi-Min, then a picture of it. All this information is logged into our software program instantly and an updated “timeline” on each animal is current for the life of the livestock.

It’s Friday EVE y’all and MBCF BEEF is what’s for dinner at the Salem Lions Football JV game concessions!!

It's Thursday! Tonight at the Salem Middle School football game the Band Parents will be serving hot and delicious food at the concession stand. For less than it costs to feed yourself at a fast food restaurant, you can get fresh local BBQ beef brisket over fries or nachos with cheese, sour cream, and bbq sauce. It is a complete meal!

All of our beef products are raised right here in Washington County, less than 5 miles from the school at Morning Breeze Cattle Farms . You can't get any more local than that!
