WHEW. We needed a minute to catch our breath after Wednesday night because… WOW. 🤯

SALEM — THANK YOU.

What a way to wrap up the 2026 Salem Downtown Market season. Main Street was PACKED. The vendors showed up. The food was amazing. The entertainment was incredible. The kids were everywhere. The train was rolling. And our little downtown was absolutely buzzing.

Seeing that many people come out on a Wednesday night to eat, shop, visit, laugh, support local businesses and just enjoy our community together was pretty dang special.

There are so many people behind the scenes who helped make not only Wednesday night happen, but this entire season happen — our vendors, entertainers, sponsors, local businesses, volunteers, the Chamber, the 7-8th grade MCM football boys who hauled tables, and everyone else who jumped in whenever we needed a hand.

And then there’s all of YOU who kept showing up month after month.

We had big ideas for the Downtown Market this year, but watching Main Street look like THAT Wednesday night? Yeah… that one was pretty cool. 🥹

Thank you, Salem, for one heck of a 2026 season.

Before we kick off our final market of the season tonight, we need to give a BIG thank you to the businesses and community members who helped make the Salem Downtown Market possible this summer.

So many of the things you’ve enjoyed at the market were made possible because people in our community stepped up and supported us.

First Dakota National Bank — sponsored ALL of our live music this season and contributed toward our corn pit.

Steve & Cathy Eichacker — provided our corn pit and basketball games for the kids.

Blindert Insurance Agency, Inc. — sponsored our volunteer shirts and helped keep our market crew easy to spot all season long.

K Bar 5 Trucking LLC — donated the prizes for our 4th of July kids’ activities.

BankWest Insurance — supported the market with a monetary donation.

Nutrien Ag Solutions — donated TWO half hogs, including processing, for our season-long raffle.

Salem Lumber — donated the 36” Blackstone for our season-long raffle.

When local businesses and community members support events like ours, it allows us to bring more entertainment, more activities for the kids and more reasons for people to come downtown and spend an evening together.

Thank you for investing in our market and in Salem. We truly couldn’t do all of this without you.

IT’S MARKET DAYYYYY! 🙌

One last time for 2026 — and we’re going out BIG.

Tonight is the Salem Downtown Market SEASON FINALE! Come hang out with us on Main Street from 5–8 PM for one heck of a night:

• SD Aerial Arts is BACK after drawing a huge crowd last year
• Live music by Bridget Boen
• Train rides — and yes, adults can ride too 😂
• Free professional face painting
• Tons of local vendors, food, shopping & more
• The Den is serving a fully loaded baked potato bar
• The Brewery has a nacho special plus full normal menu
• RAFFLE DRAWING at 7:30 PM!

Raffle tickets can be purchased right up until we draw. First name drawn gets first pick, second gets the next pick, and so on. You do NOT need to be present to win! We will call the number listed on the raffle ticket if you are not present.

Come hungry because The Den Drive Up is bringing a fully loaded baked potato bar — shredded beef, taco meat, pulled pork and TONS of toppings to build it however you want. 🥔

The Brewery will have their nacho special + other menu items, and several of our vendors will have food and treats too.

Basically… don’t eat supper before you come. 😂
