Our orchard and farm market are located on the outskirts of Salem and in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Orchards Farm Market is a great place for you to buy local produce. Much of what we sell is grown within a few miles of our Market. Our new 100kw photovoltaic solar array has made us the green grocers with green power. We are open year round bringing you what is local throughout the year. I

n addition to our larges selection of produce and northwest gourmet foods, each summer we have strawberry, mixed berry or peach shortcakes and milkshakes. In October you can have fun on our farm at E.Z. Orchards HarvestFest. A month long celebration of fall fun. Visit the corn maze, petting zoo, pumpkin patch and many other fun activities. For the Holiday season we have a great selection of Christmas trees, wreaths and greens.

Starting to plan your Memorial Day Weekend, but not sure what's in season for the Holiday Weekend? No, worries we've got you covered!
If your planning a BBQ or social gathering. Here is our local and in season produce! Strawberries are local and in season, we have multiple varieties of strawberries in season right now. Local Rhubarb is in season and we have NW Asparagus. Snap Peas and Spinach are both local and will make a great salad! From California there are also cherries, apricot, and sweet corn.
If you plan on visiting gravesites this weekend there are many local flowers in season now! We have local Irises, Peonies, and Mixed Bouquets sold by the bunch. We also still have hanging baskets!
The Market and Shortcake Stand will be open Saturday 5/23 from 9am-5pm, and will be closed Sunday 5/24. The Market and Shortcake Stand will be open 9am-6pm on Memorial Day.

We have some exciting news. We are working with a new Sourdough bread company! Cornerstone Bakery is made on a Dallas farm .

They are passionate about nutrient dense food! Which is why they use fresh milled ancient and locally sourced organic grains. They long ferment their sourdough for optimal gut health and robust flavor. From farm to your table.

They will be delivering twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. We will be starting off by carrying their tasty Original Sourdough Loaf, an assortment of cookie flavors which will vary seasonally--for example Lavender White Chocolate Cookies and Chocolate Hazelnut Sea Salt Cookies. Along with their Sourdough Starter kit which includes instruction and some recipe cards!

Make sure to check them out at our bread display inside the Farm Market!

Its the most wonderful time of the year! Strawberry Shortcake Season! 🍓

The Shortcake Stand is now open for the season. It will be open now until early September with the summer menu. The Shortcake Stand has the same hours as the Market. Open Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm, and closed Sundays.

The Shortcake Stand is located next to our Market in our lavender garden. 5504 Hazelgreen Rd NE Salem, OR 97305.

A large Shortcake is now $7.99 and a small Shortcake is now $7.45. We had to change local bakeries this year. They continue to use our recipe so the cakes will taste the same! We have made a few improvements to the biscuit that we hope you'll love! (The Shortcakes are the only items with different prices from last year.)

Strawberry is the only topping option for Shortcake right now, but later this summer we will also have Mixed Berry and Peach.

Local Spinach is in season! Did you know spinach contains approximately 3 grams of protein per serving (30g-100g). Not only is spinach healthy it is so versatile. You can find ways to pack spinach into almost any meal of the day! Meal prep a Strata for breakfast for the week or make some fluffy spinach omelets. Need a snack perhaps some spinach puffs or a light spinach salad. For the main course try some chicken spinach & cheddar soup, or some za'atar spinach pasta.
You can find each spinach recipe inspiration on the website of the each of the tagged chefs. Make sure to check them out! 👩‍🍳

You all asked and here they are. Hood Strawberries! We will have a limited supply of Hood Strawberries tomorrow. We should be getting Hood Strawberries every day for the next two weeks or so. There will also be other Strawberry varieties. So, there is a chance we will sell out of Hoods. You can always call ahead and reserve the Hood Strawberries if those are the only kind of berries you want. 🍓
Strawberries are currently $4.49/pint, $13.29/Quart and a half, $47.99/flat + $1.50 deposit. (Prices may vary throughout the season).
Open 9:00-5:00 tomorrow (Saturday 5/9).

Trying to decide what to get Mom for Mother's Day Weekend? Well here's an update in what's local and in season this Mother's Day Weekend!
If your trying to decide what to serve for Breakfast in Bed or perhaps a BBQ for Mother's Day. Strawberries, Rhubarb, Spinach, Snap Peas, are all local and in season. We also have California Apricots and Dark Cherries. 🍓🫛🍒
A popular gift on Mother's Day is flowers, and there are so many in season at this time of year. We have hanging baskets in an assortment of colors for $34.99. We have local Iris bunches for $12.29, local Peonies bunches for $14.25, and a few remaining local tulip bunches for $8.99. 💐🌷
