🌟 Employee Highlight: Jeff 🌟
49 years of service at Roth’s Fresh Markets — and still going strong!
Jeff started in Feb 1977 after the store manager tested his reliability by rescheduling his interview 3 times. Jeff showed up every single time, dressed and ready. On the 3rd visit? “You’re hired!” — no interview was needed.
Since then, Jeff has worked his way from Courtesy Clerk to Keyperson across four stores: Woodburn, Canby, Hayesville, and now Silverton. Customers from the Woodburn days still come back just to shop at “Jeff’s store.”
His secret to great service? Always walk the customer to the product — never just point.
Jeff’s passion is display merchandising — he loves getting creative and making displays look amazing. When he’s off the clock, you’ll find him collecting coins, watches, and Hot Wheels.
Fun fact: Jeff plans to retire in 2 years — but what a legacy he’ll leave behind!
