The consumer subscribes to a farm “share” by enrolling in the program, and receiving the benefits of fresh, locally grown produce delivered weekly to a pick up site near your home. The obvious benefits are you are getting seasonal produce that is grown for you. By enrolling early, small farmers have the ability to know they have a market for the majority of their produce. The central coast has a wonderful climate that allows us to benefit from the seasonal changes. In spring there are the first of the strawberries and leafy greens, while in summer we get melons and tomatoes. You will never run out of options as the crops change with each season, bringing you the freshest offerings each week. The control of the harvest ensures that you are getting your box within 24 hours of harvest, making sure you get the most flavorful produce available, grown with care and attention to sustaining the life forces in our area.
