This hot spell weekend keeps beekeepers on their toes for swarms. We split our over-wintered hives at the end of April in an effort to prevent swarms. Today we moved our winter queen to a bigger house!

Put the bees to bed for the winter this weekend while the weather was nice. Our helper didn’t want to stop playing in the field!

We wrapped up our last honey harvest for the season. This year’s honey is fantastic!

Thanks to everyone that keeps buying our honey! We sold out of 2024 just in time to harvest 2025. We are also making small batch hot honey.
