The original owner, Arthur (AJ) David, started out as a fish peddler, literally peddling a bicycle around selling fish. Soon, with a quality product to offer the business expanded. Current owner, Gordon Blaney, works hard to maintain a standard of excellence that was set by his grandfather Arthur David. David's serves the community both as a wholesale, selling and delivering to local restaurants,
and a retail provider. We strive to provide a top quality product to the public for a reasonable price. We also buy our fish as local as possible while taking price and quality into consideration and cut the majority of our fish right at our very own store, cutting transit time down drastically and allowing us to deliver the freshest fish to the consumer. In addition to our high quality product we strive to be knowledgeable about our product. If you have any questions feel free to ask any of our staff and we are almost always able to provide you with information or find someone who can close by. Many of our staff have been with us for ten years or more, making them knowledgeable and excellent members of the team at David's Fish Market. If your nervous about cooking fish we can even offer you some advice or recipes to try out. If you want live lobsters we have an extensive supply. If you call in advance (we prefer a 2 hour notice) you can even have them cooked in our very own boiler for just two dollars an order (that's regardless of the size of the order... you can order one or one hundred... or even more!)
