Today, we’re highlighting Adopt-A-Block Outreach, a Salisbury nonprofit outreach ministry of Emmanuel Church dedicated to helping local families facing food insecurity. Here’s a very easy way to help out!

Right here in our community, families are struggling to put food on the table. The need continues to grow, and AAB needs our help to ensure no hungry neighbor is turned away.

What began in 2014 with a pickup truck and a handful of volunteers has grown into a client-choice food pantry and outreach center serving families throughout Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties. Adopt-A-Block also helps connect neighbors with health, legal and social services.

The need for food assistance continues to grow, and every contribution helps. Each $1 donated can provide $4 or more in food.
