Recipe of the Week - Cast Iron New York Strip with Herb Butter, Parmesan Potatoes & Charred Green Beans

The Beef
- Season generously with Beau’s Blend 45 minutes before cooking.
- Pat dry and sear in a screaming hot cast iron skillet 3–4 min per side.
- Add our Ranch Gold beef tallow, smashed garlic, and fresh rosemary. Baste continuously for 1–2 minutes.
- Pull at 125–130°F for medium-rare. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

The Plate
- Baby gold potatoes tossed in olive oil, garlic powder, and parmesan — roast at 425°F for 35–40 min.
- Green beans blistered in the skillet the last 5–6 minutes with butter and cracked pepper.
- Finish steak with flaky salt and a drizzle of melted herb butter

We want to thank Jon and Stephanie Lewis, long-time friends and customers, for buying our “pick of the herd” lot at yesterday’s Red River Beefmaster sale in Paris, TX. We also want to thank Daniel Litton, Tom House and Tyler Blackmon for their purchase of our heifer lots. We know they will do a great job for their programs.

It was a tremendous sale, averaging over $6750 on 75 lots of excellent Beefmaster females. Thanks to the buyers, consigners and sale management for making it a fantastic sale!

We’re now offering delivery on beef orders to make it even easier to get L Bar Beef on your table. Just select delivery fulfillment, and we’ll have it to your door the following day.

Deliveries begin at 1pm for orders placed the day prior. Meet us at drop-off or leave a cooler out front — we’ll take care of the rest.

We are excited to have 4 heifers in the Red River Premium Female Sale this Saturday May 16th in Paris, TX. Recipe of the Week - Lime-Marinated Flank Steak Tacos with Cilantro Rice

The Beef
• Marinate for 6 hours - fresh lime juice, Beau's Blend, olive oil, garlic, cumin
• Grill high heat 4 minutes a side
• Rest 10 minutes. Slice thin against the grain

The Plate
• Warm corn tortillas
• Cotija cheese, cilantro, tomato
• Cilantro-lime rice
• Black beans
• Fresh pico de gallo
