Jessica Salazar, our Director of Baking and Pastry, shares a look at how we make each loaf, starting with local heritage grains from Barton Springs Mill and ending with every loaf shaped by hand.

We’ll be baking it throughout Día de Mu***os.

On Wednesdays from 5–7PM, we have painting and carving set up at the market with the purchase of any Pullman pumpkin.

Some stories stay long after the people who lived them are gone.

This Día de Mu***os, we’re honoring Guadalupe Mendez, whose produce business brought together local farmers and families across San Antonio. His story is part of the history of the people and places that have shaped the city’s markets.

His granddaughter, Elizabeth Cavazos, recently joined us at Pullman Market to place his photo on our ofrenda and share more about his life and the mark he left on San Antonio.

We’re honored to remember Guadalupe and the generations of families who keep these stories alive.

Visit our ofrenda in the The Mezcaleria area through November 3.

Fresh coriander from Trosi Farms went into our second Local Lands to Local Hands collaboration with Jester King Brewery.

The Farmhouse Witbier is brewed with lime and green coriander from Trosi Farms in Waller, Texas.

You’ll find the b**r at the market now. On October 15, the Jester King crew will be at Fife & Farro from 5-7PM, alongside Mezquite Shared Crust Pizza.
