On this day in history, the best market manager to ever manage a market was born 🥳🎂

Wishing a big, beautiful birthday to our market manager, Brijet. While the market life didn’t exactly choose Brijet, there’s absolutely no question that shes exactly where she’s supposed to be. The second generation to captain the Mercato, she leads our magical market each week with so much love, care, and enthusiasm. As passionate as she is patient, she’s often a silent, yet sturdy pillar in the San Diego food system. It’s her humility that demands respect and pushes everyone at our market (and in our community) to be better business owners, advocates, neighbors, and people.

Happy birthday, Brijet!! We love you and are so grateful you’re our chao coordinator. You really are the 🐐 of farmers markets.

Pls enjoy the extra special up close look at what may just be the best birthday 🎁 of all time (a custom Guess Who game complete with a handful of our favorite market vendors). Gonna be hard to top that one this year.
