This post is long overdue, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to express just how grateful we are for the people who have supported us every step of the way.
Last week, we received a package in the mail from one of our longtime customers. Inside were T-shirts made especially for our family. Once again, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the love and kindness shown to us.
Legacy 4 Xavier has been one of our greatest supporters—from the farmers markets and pop-ups to catering, and even during the time we had our restaurant. Every Sunday, we would see their beautiful faces ready for Soul Food Sunday. ❤️
And that’s really what this post is about.
The business we created has given us so much more than customers. Along the way, we have gained friends who have become like family.
After 10 years in this business, we are still in awe of how many incredible people we have had the privilege of meeting and serving. One special customer once told me, “Feeding people is a ministry.”
Those words have stayed with me.
We truly believe God called us to serve our community through cooking—to bring people from different backgrounds together to create meaningful connections over delicious food.
To Stephanie and everyone at Legacy 4 Xavier, thank you for your continued love, kindness, and friendship. Your support has meant more to our family than words can express, and it will never be taken for granted.
