🍁Another of our FUN ACTIVITIES happening (on our LAST day) tomorrow is…. 🎃 PUMPKIN DECORATING!!! 🎃We’ll also have some other arts and crafts supplies for making Day of the Dead marigolds, little bats 🦇ghosts 👻 and masks 👺🎭!!! There will be stickers and other goodies for the whole family. 🤗

🎶Lendl San Jose (aka Ukulenny) is a performer and educator residing in the Bay Area. Often considered a "human jukebox," Ukulenny sings and plays a wide variety of pop hits 80’s-today,
classic rock, and Hawaiian music. 🌺

🎃For this show, Ukulenny will mix in some special Halloween-themed music!!! We are super looking forward to his performance at our FINAL farmers market this season, the Halloween Grand Finale (SOMA West) Farmers Market! 🧑🏽‍🌾👨🏿‍🌾👩🏻‍🌾

🎃THIS SATURDAY October 29th🎃 is the Halloween Grand Finale SOMA West Farmers Market! We are suuuuper stoked and also a little sad to say goodbye! It’s been such a fun time getting to know each vendor and having access to such amazing local food and artisanal products this summer and fall.
Highlights for this Saturday include a 💐FREE FLOWER-ARRANGING WORKSHOP 💐with Kim from Wyldeflower Workshop, which you can sign up for in the link in our bio!
Also, there will be kids’ activities, a bunch of pumpkins to decorate, and 🎶live music🎶 from Ukulenny!

🎨ART BOOTH DAY📸
Hey hey farmers market folks! This week we will have most of our usual vendors PLUS some fantastic local art and artisanal crafts!!! From photographs to body and hair care, from zines to vegan leather bo***ge wear, this is the market to come to if you want to grab an early holiday gift or just to meet some of the Bay’s finest creative folks!!

Thanks to , , , , , and Jessica from Embrace for coming on board to vend this week! Sooo excited to have you all!!! 🤗

As noted in our last post, we will also have fingerstyle guitar by local guitarist and songwriter Dibson T Hoffweiler. It’s gonna be a special one for sure!!! 🎸

🍁This Saturday October 22nd from 10am-1pm!

🎸Dibson T Hoffweiler has played in many groups over his musical career: rock bands, jazz combos, alien-inspired folk collectives, and animal-themed indie rock bands. At this week’s market he’ll be bringing his solo fingerstyle guitar playing on electric guitar, playing improvisations as well as tunes from his collection of solo albums. We are looking forward to hearing him at the market.

🎨Also at this Saturday’s market will be a variety of art vendors (among them Yoko OK, Maira McDermott, Jade Baas and Jessica Hart - more on them soon!), as well as the usual suspects slinging gumbo, pudding, organic produce, artisanal candles and more!! We are so happy to have some new faces and lots of fun creations to look at!

🐈‍⬛🐈SOMA West Farmers Market is happy to welcome back SkinnyKatz this Saturday, October 15th! Yui Tsuchida and Ji Yoo have an impressive range. Their songs are a mix of jazz, bossa nova, rhythm & blues, and love. 🎶😻

🎤They’ll be gracing us with their melodies from 10am-1pm! Come for the tunes, the coffee, the gumbo, the pudding, and the bears (Bearrison St Fair starts at noon! See previous post for more details)! 🐻

🍁The last month of our SOMA West Farmers Market is rolling right along, and we have some really exciting things going on!

🐻This Saturday October 15th, we will be cross-pollinating with BEARRISON STREET FAIR! That is, during the last hour of our market, this incredible yearly LGBTQ+, body-positive event will be happening along Harrison right at our corner! From 12-6pm there will be 3 stages, live wrestling, even a “BEAR-garden!” This is a collab between the and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence!!! Super pumped to be there!

🖤Also that day, the LeatherWalk which benefits the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District will be ending at Bearrison (it starts at Civic Center at 11am and marches towards our plaza, with a ceremonial Leather Pride flag being raised at 3pm!

🎃And mark your calendar - Saturday October 29th will be our HALLOWEEN GRAND FINALE MARKET! This will be our last market until the next time! There will be live music by , plus FREE kids’ activities from 10am-12pm, and more!!!
