We are so blessed 😇 our plum trees have fruit for the first time in 7 years!
Today, we saw many plums on the tree.
🌴 The plums are green outside and red inside, which means they are almost ready.

🧑‍🌾To stop birds from eating them or falling on the ground, we picked them a little early and will let them ripen at home.
Plums can still ripen after picking 🍑
Just like bananas and peaches, they get sweeter after you pick them.✝️ 🧑‍🌾

It’s a stunning view! From our backyard, we can see Yosemite Valley and Half Dome through binoculars. That’s impressive—Yosemite is about 50 miles away from our home in Copperopolis, but the clear skies today and the elevation provide us with a great view, particularly of the iconic Half Dome.

Our garden is truly a beautiful sight, filled with a variety of fruits. It’s amazing to enjoy fresh harvests each season—a true blessing. Today, we have tangerines, Japanese kumquats, grapefruit, lemons, limes, and the unique Buddha’s hand. Each season brings a different fruit harvest, offering a wonderful way to experience nature’s gifts. Thank you, Jesus Christ! 🙏✝️

That’s wonderful! Buddha’s hand citron is quite a unique and challenging plant to grow, so it’s a real accomplishment to see it flourishing with flowers.

💐 What Is Buddha's Hand? 🤚
Buddha's hand, or fingered citron as it is also known, is a variety of citron, Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis, that usually contains no fruit, pulp, juice, or seeds. It gets its name from its unusual shape, which resembles a hand with multiple splayed fingers, although some cultivars resemble more of a closed hand than an open one.
