Happy birthday Kevin Gondo ❤️
This year’s birthday celebration looked a little different. There was no summer mushroom hunting like the years prior, even though we both heard the chanterelles calling us from the forest.
Still, we made time to camp for one night underneath the stars, because what’s a birthday without spending it outdoors?
You woke up with your best buddy in your arms, ended the night by blowing out birthday candles at home surrounded by construction dust and plastic debris.
Even though this year’s celebration looked different from the years before, it still felt so special. Sometimes, it’s the ordinary, day-to-day moments that mean the most.
