Try the most delicious alfajores (cookie sandwich) this side of the equator. The alfajores are made up of two butter cookies filled with manjar blanco ( dulce de leche). I have added new flavors like ube, Nutella and almonds , peanut butter dipped in chocolate, coconut and manjar blanco and manjar blanco dipped in chocolate. New flavors are being created with the different flavors of the world. My original recipe is from Peru and handmade in San Francisco.
