Apple butter demands attention on your toast, English muffins, and rolls so why not make it easy and cook apples in an Instant Pot? Add apples, warm fall spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, and a bit of sugar together and you have the flavors of fall just waiting for your toast. You can also use apple butter in marinades for pork or make it into a tasty topping for vanilla ice cream. Yum! 🍞🍎

The Downtown San Jose Farmers' Market will not be in operation for 2023. Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association (PCFMA) and the San Jose Downtown Association (SJDA) have decided to put the market on hiatus with the goal of creating a market that better serves the community in 2024!

By taking a break this year, we have the opportunity to evaluate the market's current operations, identify areas that need improvement, and implement changes that will enhance the overall experience for both vendors and customers.

We want to ensure that the market can offer the best selection of fresh produce and local goods, as well as provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Please keep an eye out in late May for a survey so that your voice can be heard as we build a better farmers' market that reflects the needs of our vibrant Downtown San Jose community!
