It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our beloved Chester, our namesake, our supervisor, our constant companion. Chester will cross the rainbow bridge tomorrow at 5pm. He's 14 years 5 months old. His body is failing and he's so tired. I think he hung on until I finished my radiation treatments, which I completed on Friday.
He's been the very best dog. I adopted him from a friend of my Mom when he was 1.5 years old. Chester's been hopelessly devoted to me ever since. He was always by my side.
We have so many wonderful, loving memories. Chester did everything with us! We only picked vacation destinations that allowed him to join us. There were only a few exceptions to this over the years.
We will miss him so, but we know some of you will miss Chester greeting you when you come to purchase plants, vegetables, or honey. He always loved when someone would stop by so he could make a new friend. Chester has helped to turn former visitors into our friends.
Chester will live on in our hearts...❤️❤️❤️
