I harvested my garlic a little earlier because I didn't really think it out when I planted them in fall using my garden boxes which are good real estate for my summer crops. Next year they'll go into the ground. I need to get my sweet potatoes in, the garlic is ready and is not going to get much bigger. What an awesome harvest for my husband and I!

Have to keep an eye on your brassica because those cabbage worms will take them out fast. You see those little white moths flying around your garden with a single black dot on their wings? Those are cabbage moths. They are bad. They are not butterflies so don't get them confused. They're a moth.

Our babies are growing up. It sure doesn't take long. So they now are going to be in this space until we can bring them together with the other chickens. But for now they'll get to look at each other and get used to each other. They're so precious!!

A little reminder that flowers aren't just pretty. They nourish the soul too. One of my favorite simple joys is gathering blooms from the garden and creating little wild bouquets for our home. They bring so much peace, beauty, and happiness into everyday life. Support your local farmers when you can, It truly makes a difference.

Sharing my current garden situation. I had to try and go through this fast. I didn't show every box because this video would turn into a movie. 😆 There is still so much more!!

Part 3 of growing potatoes in bags. I'm super late and don't feel confident that they will produce an abundance of potatoes as I hope. But nature is resilient. All I can do is give them a little prayer. Last year we were very successful doing this method. The only thing I've changed is doing full potting soil versus a mixture of garden box soil. 🙏

Stock flowers are so intoxicating. I started these from seeds and I wish that I would have put up some support for them. But I'm so happy that they are in bloom. The fragrance is filling the space with scent is clove, vanilla and sweet honey. So wonderful.

May your days be filled with light, your heart with gratitude, and may you feel Jesus walking beside you in every beautiful moment. Happy Earth Day, with love

If you couldn't tell, I'm quite happy.

Now that’s the kind of garden magic I love that my cilantro came back like a true perennial this year. And the wild part? It’s the same three plants from last season, not new seedlings! They somehow pushed through and kept growing, like they decided they weren’t done yet. Just a reminder that if conditions are right, cool weather, a little protection, and good soil, even a plant we treat as an annual can surprise you and stick around.
