What’s for dinner? KOHLRABI 👀🥬

If you’ve never tried it, consider this your sign. Mild, crisp, and just a little sweet—kohlrabi is like a cross between a cabbage and a turnip, and it’s way more versatile than you’d think. Roast it, toss it in a salad, or try it as fries (trust us on this one 🤌).

We’ve got plenty in stock right now along with zucchini, summer squash, broccoli, kale, turnips, carrots, beets, green onions, apricots, plums, and sweet onions!

We’ve been getting a lot of the same question lately… “WHEN are the melons, tomatoes, and peppers coming?!” 👀

Well… your official produce forecast is in ⬇️

🍉 Watermelon → we’re hoping just in time to steal the show for the 4th of July 🇺🇸
🍈 Cantaloupe → rolling in around June 20th
🍅 Tomatoes → okay okay don’t come for us 😅 blight got us this year, so they’ll be fashionably late… sometime in July 🤷🏻‍♀️
🫑🌶️ Peppers → kicking things off early July

Trust us—we’re just as impatient as you are 😭 but good things take time (and a little cooperation from Mother Nature 🌱)

Until then, come grab all the other fresh goodies we do have waiting for you 💚

Big changes are coming this year!

We’re shortening our store hours and will not be opening Memorial Weekend as usual. Our gardens need a little more time, so while you can still find us at the Downtown Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, the storefront will open a bit later this season.

Subscription boxes will still be fulfilled as scheduled.

Our plum trees set more fruit than they can realistically support this season. That might sound like a good problem, but too much fruit puts excess stress on the branches—one was even bent all the way to the ground. As the plums continue to size up, that weight can easily lead to broken limbs.

That’s why we thin the fruit ✂️ By removing some of the smaller or crowded plums, we reduce strain on the tree, prevent breakage, and allow the remaining fruit to grow larger, healthier, and higher quality. It’s a simple step that makes a big difference at harvest 🙌
