My name is Sarah Nava, owner and manager of the Market on the Bayou. I have lived in the community for 14 years and have 2 kids, 5 grandkids, and own 3 other businesses (photography, mums, and a craft market) in addition to working for a great company called Magnabilities. I served in the US Navy for 4 years, a service connected disability, honorable discharge and 2nd generation female in my famil

y to serve. I took over the market after the Dickinson Chamber of Commerce closed in Dec 2023. I feel that our community is in the need of healthy produce, quality homemade foods without the MSGs and GMOs. I strive for quality and not quantity when it comes to my market.

Today, we have news about our location. As of Tuesday, June 2, we were denied continued access to the parking lot. Our application was denied by corporate. We thank everyone for their support. We appreciate each one of you. We will be moving between a couple of locations until we find another location or save up for our own land.

What an amazing day we had at Haak Vineyards & Winery, what a beautiful venue. We are so excited to team up with them for this weekend.

We received many words of encouragement, support, love and appreciation for being out at the venue.

We will be back at Haak winery on June 27 with a night market 4pm-9pm.
