The Senior Project FRESH program gives eligible older adults $25 in benefits to buy fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, cut herbs, mushrooms, and honey from participating farms at the Farmers Markets or at their farm. We accept the cards at our Farm Stand, just call me ahead of time 440-5848 so I can process the card on my phone.

We will also be accepting:

Food as Medicine Coupons
Credit / Debit Cards
Checks
and Cash.

As we will not be at the Farmers Markets this year, if you want to use a card at our farm stand just call me ahead of time at 440-5848 and I can meet you at the farm stand.

We are just getting our Winter Squash plants out to our Farm Stand, some are there now, others will be out by this weekend.

We stopped out to Kimbers Farm and Creations today just to see what they had that we did not. One thing we do not have this year is Strawberry Plants, but they do. They also have a nice selection of veggie plants and LOTS of Flowers. Every year they have more cool things. Stop and see them on Mack Trail out past the DonDee Bowling Alley.

Our Asparagus, Rhubarb and Broccoli should be available by this weekend =)

Yellow Summer Squash

And some seed Potatoes and Onion Sets.

We also have Fresh Farm Eggs in the little fridge.

Lots of Organic Dairy Doo used in our plant starts. Stop by any time, its a great week to plan & layout your garden.

The Farmstand is self serve and always open. 3449 S Ridge Rd, just outside the Sault city limits. Cash, chevk or Venmo accepted. If you need change or to use a credit or debit card, just call 440-5848 and we will come up and do that if we are aroynd. We are usually out in the garden =)

Its a Great Day for some Plants =) The Farm Stand is stocked and open.

Zucchini, Cucumber, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Tomatoes, Peppers, and Giant Pumpkins plants in the Farm Stand. Also Seed Potatoes and Onion Sets. We will be adding more all weekend.

Not all of our seed is organic seed, but we start and pot all of our plants in Organic Dairy Doo Veggie Grow mix. Actually there is one exception, we use Dairy Doo's Lettuce Grow mix for all our Lettuce. All organic and specially formulated for Lettuce.

We tried a dozen different professional mixes over 3 years, and the clear winner with the best results was Dairy Doo. We go through 3 large sacks every year now. And if you are starting flowers, they have a Flower mix too. You can get small bags at Parmers on the Business Spur or from Dani at the Country Greenhouse on M129 just before 12 mile. As well as other places around the EUP.

The Lettuce Grow Mix is a specialty order item, so if want to try some give me a call and we can get you some.

Our Farm stand is open all day, every day on a self serve basis with a pay box on the door. Cash, Checks or Venmo is accepted. If you would like to use a credit or debit card, we are usually around in the garden somewhere, just call my cell 440-5848 and I can come up and run it for you.
