Fresh bread update for today 🍞✨

Yesterday’s sourdough from Roots and Rise Bakehouse completely SOLD OUT — thank you all so much!! 🤎

This morning we stocked up on fresh Italian bread from Joe’s Bakery instead! Joe had a busy week of baking ahead, so he sent today’s bread over early for everyone to enjoy.

Soft, fresh, local, and ready for sandwiches, pasta night, garlic bread, or honestly just warm with butter. 😌

Stop in and grab a loaf while they last!

Fresh sliced Italian loaves from Joe’s Bakery are at The Cattleman’s Pantry today — soft on the inside, perfectly crusty on the outside, and basically begging to become a grilled cheese, a big spaghetti dinner sidekick, or a butter-slathered snack straight off the counter. 😌

We’ve got beautiful fresh sourdough loaves ready for your kitchen AND an assortment of sourdough cookies that honestly might not last long 👀

Today we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a time to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

WOW… what a Pike Days weekend. 🤎🐴

We just want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by The Cattleman’s Pantry this weekend during Pike Days!

Whether you came for the ground beef special, wine tastings with PK Winery, pizza, ice cream, local goods, or just stopped in to say hello while enjoying the National Road Festival — thank you for supporting our little shop and our local community. 👏

Seeing Route 40 full of people, wagon trains rolling through town, porches full, and small businesses busy all weekend long is something really special. It’s weekends like this that remind us why we love this community so much.

One of the best parts of Pike Days weekend?

Watching the wagon train roll down Route 40 just like the old days. 🤎🐴

This photo was taken right by the Tradesmen Inn — just a short distance from The Cattleman’s Pantry — and it might just be one of the best seats in town for the view. 👏

There’s something special about seeing the wagons, horses, and riders travel the National Road while our small towns come alive for the weekend. It’s a reminder of the history, tradition, and community that make Pike Days so unique around here.

The wagon train is expected to be rolling through the area Saturday afternoon around 1 PM. So grab a seat on the porch, an ice cream cone, an old-fashioned soda, or some local goodies from the shop and enjoy the sights of the wagon train as it passes through Scenery Hill. ☀️🍦

We’ll be open ALL weekend long — including Sunday for Pike Days weekend!
